Центральный банк Арубы планирует выпустить новую серию банкнот
 
Центральный банк Аруба сообщает, что разработана новая серия банкнот Арубы. Банкноты новой серии будут с новым дизайном и новейшими средствами защиты. Для реализации этого важного проекта Центральный банк Аруба тесно сотрудничал с местными художниками, местными и международными экспертами и всемирно известным производителем банкнот Crane.
2 мая 2019 года ЦБА проинформирует общественность Арубы о новой серии банкнот, выпуск банкнот в обращение которое состоится в июне 2019 года.

Anouncement regarding the issue of new florin banknotes
 


The Central Bank of Aruba is planning to issue a new series florin banknotes


In conformity with article 7 of the Central Bank Ordinance (AB1991, no.GT 32), the Centrale Bank van Aruba (CBA) is the designated issuing bank and, as such, is authorized, with the exclusion of all others, to issue florin banknotes in Aruba. In this regard, the CBA must ensure that the circulated banknotes are of good quality and meet high security standards. In this way, the CBA seeks to maintain the trust in our florin, and thereby contribute to an enhanced efficiency and effectiveness of our payment system.
The CBA informs that it is working on a project to issue a new series of florin banknotes to replace the current series. The new series florin banknotes will have a complete new design and contain the latest security features. To realize this important project the CBA has worked closely with local artists, local and international experts, and the internationally renowned banknote producer Crane Currency, and thereby meet as much as possible the high international standards.
On May 2, 2019 the CBA will inform the Aruban public about the new series of banknotes in order to prepare for its introduction, which will take place during the month of June 2019.
