МОСКВА, 16 июн — РИА Новости. Евросистема, включающая центробанки стран еврозоны и Европейский центральный банк, 5 июля представит новую банкноту серии "Европа" достоинством 50 евро, говорится в пресс-релизе ЕЦБ.
"Мы — Евросистема и наши партнеры по отрасли — начали готовиться к введению новой купюры в 50 евро, чтобы убедиться, что компании подготовлены, и люди смогут без проблем использовать свои новые банкноты в день, когда они поступят в обращение", — приводятся в сообщении слова Тона Рооса (Ton Roos), возглавляющего структуру ЕЦБ по банкнотам.
Планируется, что в обращение купюра поступит весной 2017 года.
Банкнота номиналом в 50 евро является наиболее используемой среди еврокупюр. В настоящее время в обращении находится более 8 миллиардов банкнот достоинством в 50 евро, что составляет около 45% от всех банкнот евро.
Серия "Европа" является второй серией банкнот евро, которая начала вводиться в 2013 году. На данный момент выпускаются купюры номиналом в 5, 10 и 20 евро.

ECB and partners to ensure machines are ready to accept new €50 banknote
The European Central Bank (ECB) and the national central banks of the euro area – the Eurosystem – will unveil the new Europa series €50 banknote to the public on 5 July 2016. The new note is planned to be brought into circulation in spring 2017. Banknote equipment manufacturers, industry associations and the ECB signed a memorandum of understanding to underline their commitment to ensure that vending, ticketing and other machines accepting banknotes will work with the new €50 note as of the launch date. They also committed to inform their customers, partners, employees and other stakeholders about the new banknote.
“We – the Eurosystem and our industry partners – have started to prepare for the introduction of the new €50 note early on, to ensure businesses are ready so that people can use their new banknotes smoothly everywhere as of the day they enter into circulation”, said Ton Roos, Director Banknotes at the ECB.
The €50 banknote is the most widely used of all euro banknote denominations. More than 8 billion banknotes in circulation are €50 banknotes, representing about 45% of the total.
The ECB and its partners held a seminar for banknote equipment manufacturers and others at the Banco de Espa?a in Madrid on 15 June 2016. The aim of the seminar was to help partners prepare for the introduction of the new €50 banknote and to facilitate the adaptation of banknote equipment.
The national central banks of the Eurosystem have since April offered banknote equipment manufacturers the opportunity to carry out tests with new €50 banknotes inside national central bank buildings. From July, they will also offer new €50 banknotes on loan to interested banknote equipment manufacturers and other relevant third parties for testing at their own offices and at banknote equipment locations. The Eurosystem also offers a wide range of information to all interested parties, including via the Partnership Programme, to help them train and inform their employees, their customers and euro area citizens about the new €50 banknote and its security features.

The European Central Bank (ECB) today unveiled the new €50 banknote, which will enter into circulation on 4 April 2017. The introduction of the new note marks the latest step in making euro banknotes even more secure. After the €5, €10 and €20, the €50 is the fourth denomination in the second series of euro banknotes, known as the Europa series.
“The introduction of the new €50 will make our currency even safer”, Yves Mersch, ECB Executive Board member, said. “Its state-of-the-art security features help protect our money. It is part of our continued efforts to preserve the euro as a stable currency, a currency that 338 million people across the euro area rely on day by day. The gradual launch of the new euro banknotes with new and enhanced features also underlines the Eurosystem’s commitment to cash as a trusted and efficient means of payment.”
The €50 is the most widely used euro banknote, accounting for 45% of all banknotes in circulation. There are more €50 banknotes in circulation than the €5, €10 and €20 together. The number of €50 banknotes in circulation is also nearly the same as the total number of all denominations in circulation at the end of 2002, the year when euro banknotes and coins started to circulate.
The new €50 banknote includes a portrait window – a new and innovative feature first used on the Europa series €20. When the banknote is held up to the light, a transparent window near the top of the hologram reveals a portrait of Europa, a figure from Greek mythology, which is visible on both sides of the note. The same portrait also appears in the watermark. The front of the banknote features an “emerald number”, a shiny number that, when tilted, changes colour from emerald green to deep blue and displays an effect of the light that moves up and down. These security features make it easy to check the new €50 for authenticity, using the “feel, look and tilt” method.
To help ensure that banknote handling machines and authentication devices throughout the euro area are ready in time for the new €50 banknote, the Eurosystem has launched a partnership programme. It involves more than 500 industrial partners across Europe and provides a wide range of educational tools and other resources related to the new banknote. More than 50 industrial partners also signed a memorandum of understanding on the adaptation of banknote equipment to the new €50 banknote on 15 June 2016 to underline their commitment to ensuring a smooth introduction of the new banknote.

ЕЦБ ввел в оборот новую банкноту достоинством €50
Европейский центральный банк (ЕЦБ) ввел в обращение новую банкноту стоимостью €50 с повышенной защитой. Новые €50 представил президент ЕЦБ Марио Драги. Об этом сообщается на сайте европейского Центробанка.
Господин Драги отметил, что новые банкноты обладают улучшенной защитой, которая была разработана по аналогии с защитой купюры номиналом €20. На новой банкноте достоинством €50 появилась героиня греческой мифологии Европа, а цифра 50 меняет цвет с синего на зеленый в зависимости от наклона. Цвет купюры не изменился. Кроме того, новые банкноты €50 лучше приспособлены для людей, у которых есть проблемы со зрением: буквы и числа на банкноте увеличили, а по краям появились тактильные знаки.
По словам главы ЕЦБ, на данный момент в обращении находится более девяти миллиардов купюр достоинством €50. Он отметил, что это составляет 46% от всех банкнот евро. Представляя новую банкноту, Марио Драги сообщил, что, несмотря на развитие электронных платежей, три четверти всех покупок в Евросоюзе оплачиваются наличными. Глава ЕЦБ отметил, что для функционирования экономики «люди должны верить в наличную валюту», а она должна быть надежной, легко проверяемой и доступной.
