Центральный банк Омана информирует в свое пресс-релизе от 2 июня 2019 о выпуске в обращение модернизированной банкноты 50 риалов. Реквизиты банкноты - дата 2012 и подпись не изменены. Введены новые защитные нити Varifeye CC и RollingStar с окном. Добавлен защитный элемент SPARK Live Truspin.

The Central Bank of Oman introduced newly enhanced Fifty Rials Banknote

The Central Bank of Oman is pleased to introduce to the Public the newly enhanced Fifty Rials Banknote with additional security features.
This new banknote shall be in circulation from 2nd June 2019 as legal tender along with the existing banknotes, which shall continue to remain as a legal tender, and circulated side by side with this new note.
The following are the new security features of the enhanced 50 Rial note:
Security Features on the enhanced Banknote:
Front:
A Golden security patch window (Varifeye CC Patch) shows the following:
1. The denomination.
2. CBO's main entrance.
3. Name of the Central Bank of Oman in both Arabic and English.
The color of the window changes from gold to blue under any source of light.
A Golden Magnetic Windowed Security Thread (RollingStar Security Thread), the direction of the line moves and changes color gold to green when tilting the banknote.
(Spark Live Truspin) in a shape of a crown changes color from gold to green when tilting the banknote.
Reverse:
Golden security patch window (Varifeye CC Patch) on the left side of the banknote changes color from gold to blue under any source of light.
